Photograph the garment working: real weather, real movement, and three details that each do a job.

Function has to be visible and true. Photograph in the weather the garment was made for and let the articulation read in motion: a bent knee, a raised arm, a hood filled with wind. Keep the palette restrained so the construction is the event. Never add a detail that does not do a job, and never imply a performance the fabric cannot deliver; a shell that is not waterproof should not be shot in rain.
